Recommendation for the activation of the countercyclical capital buffer (FMSG/2/2017)

With regard to the countercyclical capital buffer that is applicable from October 1, 2017, onward, the FMSB confirmed its recommendation to the Financial Market Authority to leave the rate unchanged at 0% of risk-weighted assets. The main indicator, the credit to GDP gap is negative; therefore, there are no signs of excessive credit growth.
